Kent, Ohio – Davey Resource Group, a division of The Davey Tree Expert Company, has announced the promotion of Scott Carlin to Division Manager of Asset Management.
In his new role, Carlin will oversee all aspects of Davey Resource Group’s Asset Management Services, including Joint Use Services and the Exacter business units. Exacter is a predictive maintenance technology that allows utilities to identify damaged and degraded equipment prior to failure.
Carlin started with Davey in 2004 as a project developer in the Geographic Information System group before transferring to the asset management team. Most recently, Carlin served as market manager of asset management and helped developed several new services for Davey, including their turn-key joint use audits and reliability solutions.
Carlin has a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Toledo and has served on multiple industry groups, including as chairman of the Heartland Joint Use Consortium.
