How to Help Brown Evergreens Survive Minneapolis Winters

In the metro area and across the state of Minnesota, residents can see evergreen trees with browning canopies. Eden Prairie-based Davey Tree Services District Manager and ISA Certified Arborist Travis McDonald said around March, he will get an influx of calls about browning evergreens.

“People think evergreens are easy to maintain, but Minnesota winters are harsh on the trees due to the harsh influx of temperatures,” said McDonald, a Bloomington resident.
