Sacramento-area arborists are warning people about “zombie trees.”

It’s an unofficial term that describes trees that are now showing signs of trouble, after the statewide drought has ended.

Arborists said while some trees may seem healthy, they are actually struggling – and if neglected, they can pose a serious danger.
