Property managers have enough surprises without adding a tree to the list. Yet, trees are often one of those property assets that don't get much attention until something goes wrong.
Here in Colorado, water is always something we have to keep in mind. Many may want to know: What is the status on drought conditions after this summer in Colorado? We live in a naturally dry, High Plains climate that averages only around 17 inches of precipitation each year. Following an unusually dry fall and winter and a winter snowpack that came in well below normal, drought conditions are now putting additional stress on trees across parts of the state.
And trees don't read your maintenance budget. They respond to the conditions around them whether we are paying attention or not.
