Kent, Ohio – The Davey Tree Expert Company is proud to announce the promotion of Alan Freeman to district manager, Northwest Chicago Residential/Commercial (R/C) services office.
Freeman started his career with Davey in 2009 as a plant health care technician in the Northwest Chicago office. He was then promoted to sales arborist in 2017.
“Alan has a reputation for exceeding client expectations,” said Brian O’Niel, market manager, North Chicago R/C operating group. “His steadfast focus has quickly made him a leader in the Chicago area. He is extremely knowledgeable, and Davey’s clients will see that he is dedicated to building a hardworking, safe team that will continue to impress.”
Freeman is a 2017 graduate of the Davey Institute of Tree Sciences, Davey’s flagship training program in biological sciences, safety, tree and plant care and management techniques. He is also a 2011 graduate of the Davey Institute of Horticultural Sciences, an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist® and he holds an Illinois pesticide applicator’s license.
