Davey Resource Group Promotes Mikulanis to Vice President, Utility Vegetation Management

Kent, Ohio – Davey Resource Group (DRG), a subsidiary of The Davey Tree Expert Company, is proud to announce the promotion of Vince Mikulanis to vice president, Utility Vegetation Management (UVM) services.   

In this role, Mikulanis will oversee UVM operations nationwide and will be responsible for strengthening client relationships, expanding service offerings and providing strategic leadership.

Mikulanis joined DRG in 2003 as a consulting utility forester on the San Diego Gas & Electric account. Since then, he has advanced through several leadership roles, including project manager, production manager, market manager and most recently, director of UVM's Western operations. 

Throughout his career, he has helped expand service offerings, support the solar energy market and advance next-generation UVM technology. In recognition of his contributions to the industry, Mikulanis was named the Utility Arborist Association's 2026 Utility Arborist of the Year.  

He holds a bachelor's degree in forestry from California State University, Humboldt, and is an ISA Certified Arborist®, Utility Specialist® and Municipal Specialist®.
