Kent, Ohio – The Davey Tree Expert Company is proud to announce the appointment of Stacey Greenwell to vice president, health & safety.

Greenwell joined Davey in 2018 in the legal department as corporate counsel. She was promoted to associate general counsel, director of claims in 2021 and to vice president of health & safety risk and compliance, associate general counsel in January 2026. Prior to Davey, Stacey spent more than a decade at Thompson Hine, LLP, where she supported Davey’s corporate safety program as outside counsel.
In 2004, Greenwell earned her law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Baldwin Wallace in 2001.
Greenwell is a member of the Ohio Bar, the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. She has also volunteered as a loaned executive for United Way of Greater Cleveland.
