Davey Resource Group Promotes Rettig to Director, UVM Business Development & Eastern Operations

Kent, Ohio – Davey Resource Group (DRG), a subsidiary of The Davey Tree Expert Company, is proud to announce the promotion of Mark Rettig to director of utility vegetation management (UVM) business development & Eastern operations.

“Mark’s passion for growing the company paired with his experience in utility vegetation management and tree care industries make him the perfect fit,” said Jack McCabe, vice president and general manager, DRG, utility vegetation management. “He has developed a strong team of operations managers who maintain a laser focus on our clients and help them achieve their goals.”

Rettig first joined Davey in 2002 as a residential trimmer in Toledo, Ohio. In 2013, Mark joined DRG as a project developer, and then in 2018 was promoted to market manager.

Rettig is an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist® and Utility Specialist® and holds an associate degree in forestry from Hocking College.
