Kent, Ohio – The Davey Tree Expert Company is proud to announce the promotion of Charles “Joe” Beall to district manager, Northern Virginia Residential/Commercial (R/C) office.
In his 16-year career with Davey, Beall has held several critical client service and sales related positions. He joined Davey in 2002 as a Plant Health Care technician in the Washington, D.C., office. In 2007, Beall was promoted to a sales trainee at the Annapolis office. The following year, he was promoted to sales and service coordinator in the Washington, D.C., office. In 2012, Beall became a sales arborist in the Northern Virginia office. He was promoted in 2016 to assistant district manager of the office.
“Joe’s excelled in all of these positions and is an integral member of our client experience and employee recruitment team,” said Chris Klimas, operations manager, Mid-Atlantic R/C region. “He has been a champion for creating exceptional client experience for our clients and Joe will continue to make our clients a priority in his new role.”
In 2004, Beall graduated from the Davey Institute of Tree Sciences (D.I.T.S), which is Davey’s flagship training program in biological sciences, safety, tree and plant care and management techniques. He attended the Davey Institute of Horticultural Sciences (D.I.H.S) in 2003. Beall is an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist®, a Maryland Licensed Tree Expert and a Tree Care Industry Association-Certified Tree Care Safety Professional. Beall has an associate’s degree in forest technology from the Allegany College of Maryland.
