Davey Promotes Lewis to Regional Operations Manager

Kent, Ohio – Davey Resource Group, a division of The Davey Tree Expert Co., has announced the promotion of Jim Lewis to regional operations manager, western region.

Some description

Lewis started with Davey in 1999 as a consulting utility forester. He was promoted to supervisor in 2001 and, in 2005, was promoted to project manager. In 2012 he was promoted to production manager.

Lewis has a degree in forestry from the University of Minnesota and is a licensed Registered Professional Forester with the state of California and is an ISA Certified Arborist with the Utility designation, Western Chapter.

“Jim has distinguished himself with his ability to anticipate the needs of his primary client and to build successful teams that meet their needs,” said Jack McCabe, vice president of Davey Resource Group utility operations. “His efforts have led to the growth of several projects, including quality control, line reclamation work and other natural resource and forestry efforts.”
