Kent, Ohio – The Davey Tree Expert Company announced the appointment of David Bargerstock to district manager of its South Detroit, Michigan, residential/commercial office.
With nearly 25 years’ experience at Davey Tree, Bargerstock has worked many positions in the field – from foreman to sales arborist. He served as the district manager of Davey’s Northeast Detroit residential/commercial office since 2006. His recent appointment follows the retirement of Tom Swearingen, a long-time Davey employee and manager.
“David is an incredibly experienced manager and tree care expert. Whether he is working with brand-new clients or those who have used our services for decades, David consistently exceeds their expectations,” said Jim Houston, Vice President of Davey’s Midwest residential/commercial operations.
“As the new South Detroit district manager, David and his team of tree experts will continue to deliver a superior client experience, which in turn will help grow the office,” noted Houston.
Bargerstock is an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist®. Additionally, he is a member of the local ISA Chapter in Michigan and the Michigan Green Industry Association. Bargerstock graduated from the Davey Institute of Tree Sciences, the company’s flagship training program.
