How to Help Denver Trees Recover from Fire Blight Outbreak

“The name kind of distinguishes what you're going to look for. It looks like somebody lit your tree on fire.”

The bacteria "Fire Blight" has infected trees across areas north of Denver. Rows of leaves turned brown or black, with the limbs sometimes oozing the bacteria as well. Kevin Marks from Davey Tree Company said it’s one of the worst infestations he’s seen in his 20 years as an arborist.
