Kent, Ohio – The Davey Tree Expert Company is proud to announce the appointment of Leonardo Rivera-Barragan to district manager, Menlo Park, California, Residential/Commercial (R/C) office.
“Leo’s attentive to our clients, listens their needs and has great attention to detail,” said Jason Evans, operations manager, Western operating group, R/C services. “He’s cultivated great client relationships throughout his career and has carried those with him into this new role. Leo also does a fantastic job engaging with his employees and makes time to get to know his team.”
Rivera-Barragan has nearly two decades of experience and held several management roles within the green industry.
Rivera-Barragan started in the industry as a Plant Health Care (PHC) technician with Safe & Beautiful, which became part of the Davey Company through an acquisition. In 2009, he was promoted to PHC foreman in Davey’s Menlo Park R/C office.
Rivera-Barragan is an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist®, an ISA Certified Tree Worker and Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP). He also is bilingual. Rivera-Barragan holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Guadalajara University.
