Brent Repenning is the Executive Vice President, U.S. Utility and Davey Resource Group. Mr. Repenning’s responsibilities include leading a diverse team of professionals who deliver expertise in the areas of utility line clearance, utility asset and vegetation management, urban forestry and ecological consulting services to the utility, commercial, municipal and government markets.
Since beginning his career with Davey in 1994, Mr. Repenning has served in various capacities including intern, data collector, project manager, production manager, regional manager, vice president, vice president & general manager, and senior vice president. He was promoted to his current position of Executive Vice President in 2017. He was elected a corporate officer of The Davey Tree Expert Company in 2013.
In addition, Mr. Repenning is a contributing member of the Smart Growth and Financial Sustainability strategy teams associated with Davey’s Vision 20/30 strategic plan. Further, he is a recipient of Davey’s Outstanding Manager award and is a member of the Proxy Committee, the acquisition team and the safety committee.
Mr. Repenning is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resource Management and Forestry. He is a member of the Society of American Foresters (SAF), The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), The Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA), The Utility Arborist Association (UAA), The American Association of Geographers (AAG) and Geospatial Information and Technology Association (GITA).
