Mediterranean Oak Borer
This ambrosia beetle infests branches of vulnerable oak trees, invading branches in tree canopies, spreads through the trunk and can ultimately cause death.
Vascular Wilt Diseases
Vascular wilt diseases are caused by different fungi that attack the vascular (water-conducting) system of trees. A tree responds by blocking its vascular system to contain the disease. In doing so, the water supply to the leaves is cut off.
Cankers
Cankers are caused by various species of fungi that infect wounded or stressed trees. The canker itself is the dead area on the bark that can be found on the trunk or branches.

Armyworms
Fall armyworm caterpillars eat the leaves and stems of turfgrasses, but typically do not destroy the crown of the plant. Early feeding damage can resemble drought stressed turf, but can quickly progress to complete browning of the entire stand when caterpillars are present in large numbers.
Ticks
Ticks are small, wingless, bloodsucking arthropods. They burrow their heads into their host and can change drastically in shape, color and size when they become engorged with blood. Ticks have extremely small mouths that usually go unnoticed when they bite.
