The private hospital system is one of Virginia's largest employers. HCA Virginia hospitals include Chippenham, Johnston-Willis, and 12 other medical centers throughout the state.

Healthy Hospital Grounds Through Comprehensive Maintenance
Davey has at least one member of a 5-person crew on-site 5 days a week at each hospital. Both properties receive a gamut of services, from snow and ice management to turf care and irrigation, to flower rotations, mulch, and shrub pruning.
HCA Virginia’s commitment to safety ensures patients and visitors can access their facilities regardless of weather. Davey follows their policy to a T, performing snow and ice removal services diligently to clear pathways during the winter. In the winter seasons, Davey uses up to 25 pounds of salt to de-ice 686,000 square feet of parking lots and 10,000 square feet of sidewalks. Davey also performs year-round porter services to remove trash and debris from the property.
