Paul Hurysz

Paul Hurysz joined Davey in 2022 as a manager of Davey Utility Vegetation Management’s human performance safety consulting services, where he supports utility clients and their contract partners by proactively creating simple safety solutions while solving problems that matter. Some focus areas include developing and maturing safety management systems, performing cultural assessments while helping organizations move away from a behavior-based safety approach, supporting a need to supply and train independent safety observers, conducting high-energy risk assessments and analyses, and assisting clients with storm restoration management goals. Paul has bachelor’s degrees in both forestry/wildlife and occupational health and safety and a master’s degree in business. He has been a part of the utility industry since 1987.
