Paul Hurysz

Paul Hurysz joined Davey in 2022 as a manager of Davey Utility Vegetation Management’s human performance safety consulting services, an emerging field he is leading for Davey that supports utility clients in proactively creating simple safety solutions. Examples of safety consulting services include solutions such as cultural assessments, independent safety observations, risk analysis, and storm restoration management. Paul has bachelor’s degrees in both forestry/wildlife and occupational health and a master’s degree in safety. He has been a part of the utility industry since 1987 working with several high-profile IOUs. Paul is a member of the ISA, UAA, ASSP, TVMA, and FVMA. He is the past president of the UAA and is a member of the UAA Board of Directors.
