John Jastrzembski, Professor Emeritus of Forestry, and licensed professional forester (MD), has an extensive background in natural resources management. With 40 years as a natural resources manager, John helps government entities and commercial land managers with any natural resource management issues. John joined Davey in 2019. His specialties include agricultural and natural resource financing and fiduciary responsibility, workflow planning, tree growth and regulation, municipality tree and forest management, quantitative ecology, silvics, and silviculture. John works with Davey’s eight offices in Virginia to design sustainable urban tree and natural resource management projects for offices to implement. He travels throughout North America as needed to help clients achieve their natural resource management goals.
