James Hartzell

James Hartzell joined Davey in 2000 as a foreman. Over his many years with the company, James has risen through the ranks and is now an area manager. As an area manager, James oversees the Montana and Idaho line clearance crews, where he listens to clients’ concerns and encourages safe work practices and works to uphold strong client relationships. James received the ISA Tree Worker Award in 2008 in recognition of someone who improved the quality of tree care, climbing techniques, and/or safety of tree care professionals.
