Kent, Ohio – The Davey Tree Expert Company has announced the promotion of John Tokarczyk to operations manager.
Tokarczyk will serve as operations manager for Davey’s DTE Energy accounts in Michigan and NIPSCO accounts in Indiana.
Tokarczyk’s career in utility vegetation management spans more than 20 years. He started with Davey as a journeyman in Utility services and held positions of increasing responsibility before being promoted to general foreman in 2010. In 2012, he was promoted to production manager and then in 2013 was promoted to area manager.
“As operations manager, John will provide his clients with unparalleled service thanks in large part to his personal experience working every aspect of line clearance work,” said Jack Bloomfield, regional vice president, Eastern Utility services. “John’s experience also provides him with unique insight that will help ensure safe work environments while also making him an excellent mentor for our employees.”
Tokarczyk is a Tree Care Industry Association Certified Tree Care Safety Professional. He is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture.
Tokarczyk holds a bachelor’s degree in technical management from DeVry University. He is a current member of the Davey President’s Council, whose members serve a three-year term on various committees to brainstorm and research new ideas related to the company’s operations.
