Kent, Ohio – The Davey Tree Expert Company is proud to announce the launch of its online Corporate Responsibility Report. This online report covers Davey operations during the 2017 calendar year, in the United States and Canada.
While this is Davey’s sixth year reporting and producing a compilation of its corporate responsibility efforts, the 2017 report is the company’s first, 100 percent digital version. The report also introduces Davey’s new, bold goals to significantly reduce water consumption and global fleet fuel consumption by 2023. The website features Davey’s dedication and progress in four key topic areas such as engaged employees, safe business practices, sustainable environment and innovative thinking.
"A robust materiality assessment of Davey stakeholders led us to prioritize these four areas. We manage these most significant environmental, social and governance efforts to create long-term value for our business," said Greg Ina, executive vice president of The Davey Institute and employee development. "Davey is committed to doing well by doing good; for our clients, our employee owners and the green industry."
The report is written in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative’s (GRI) G4 guidelines for a Core level report. Davey’s 2017 Corporate Responsibility Report can be found here: http://responsibility.davey.com/
