Steve A. White joined Davey in 1997 as a manager trainee for the Davey Tree Surgery Company. Since then, White has been promoted to an area manager for the Central Southwest region of DRG. In this role, White has handled various operations for multiple utility companies. He built a 60-person organization for Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas, and has trained and educated a number of Davey employees. In addition, White created and implemented a two-year program for hazard tree removals for Davey's Dupont Herbicide Crisis Program.
White holds a bachelor’s degree in urban forestry from Stephen F. Austin University. He is a past president and board member of the Texas Vegetation Management Association. White also served as a board member for the ISA Texas chapter and organized two years of utility programs for ISA-Texas Annual Conference. In addition, White built and implemented a two-year program for hazard tree removals for Davey's Dupont Herbicide Crisis Program.
