Jordan Brown joined Davey in 2007 as a GIS field project manager. In this role, Brown collects, maps and manages data collection for power utilities, and he ensures all fieldwork is completed safely, accurately and in compliance with the contract. He also helps to develop programs—including Google fiber projects—offering design and make-ready engineering services. Brown has worked on a variety of projects utilizing such technologies as GPS and GIS-based field computers for data acquisition. He works with clients nationwide such as Northwestern Energy in Montana, Crown Castle in California, Clay Electric in Florida, Union Power Cooperative in North Carolina and Georgia Power.
Brown holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental geosciences from Valdosta State University.
