Davey Resource Group provides support to the Brentwood, MO, Parks and Recreation Superintendent through professional advice, assessments, and proactive maintenance recommendations for the city’s trees.
Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc. was part of the Arlington National Cemetery Millennium Project team. As part of the project, they designed and permitted the stream restoration component that was an integral part and focal point of the aesthetic layout of the expansion.
Davey Resource Group Engineering had to take special care of the surrounding wetland during a 36-acre single-family land development project at Preserve at Parkside, located near Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Brecksville, Ohio.
Davey Resource Group performed a field delineation of federally regulated wetlands in New York as well as a number of surveys and reports to facilitate design project plans that reduce impacts to wetlands according to regulatory requirements. In addition to the in-field services performed, DRG prepared numerous permitting applications for the implementation of this project.
Davey Resource Group performed natural resources studies, environmental documentation, environmental permitting, and agency coordination of dams and dike rehabilitation in Round Valley Reservoir. For this project, DRG personnel prepared multiple permitting and environmental information documents for the rehabilitation of two dams and numerous dike structures as well as bog turtle surveys, reforestation plans, threatened and endangered species surveys, and routine wetland delineations.
Starting in 2007, Davey Resource Group conducted rare species monitoring and protection services and habitat management at the Sea Girt National Guard Training Center in New Jersey. In addition to these services, DRG also prepared portions of the updated integrated natural resources management plan and NEPA environmental assessment, and designed a wetland and coastal habitat enhancement plan to improve the ecological integrity of onsite vegetation and habitat.
Davey Resource Group performed endangered and threatened species studies for the Tesla Laboratories’ proposed solar farm at Fort Indiantown Gap in Pennsylvania. In addition to species studies, DRG also prepared environmental documentation and permits.
Davey Resource Group conducted a desktop analysis of ecological features on property in Montgomery Township, NJ, to preliminarily determine its potential for solar development. This analysis included review of wetlands, hazards, riparian zones, species presence, and permitting requirements.
Davey Resource Group helped Holloway Ponds Homeowner’s Association (HOA) install an environmentally-sustainable alternative to traditional landscaping through a series of raingardens. DRG’s design plan was developed to eliminate turf, reduce stormwater runoff from the adjacent road, and support a variety of pollinator species.
