Pete Sorensen joined Davey in 2011 as an inventory arborist working on the Asian Longhorned Beetle project. Since then, Pete has been promoted to an area manager, where he serves as the regional contact for urban forestry services in Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. In his past positions at Davey, Pete has been responsible for inspecting trees infested by the Asian Longhorned Beetle (ALB) and eradicating these pests using a variety of treatment techniques. He also supervised projects in Ohio where he managed ALB ground survey, climbing survey, and tree removal contracts for Davey on behalf of the Ohio Department of Agriculture.
Pete holds a degree in urban forestry from The University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. He is an ISA Certified Arborist Municipal Specialist® and is Tree Risk Assessment Qualified.
