Davey Tree Promotes Leatherman to Oversee U.S. Capital Territory

Kent, Ohio – The Davey Tree Expert Company has announced the promotion of Brian Leatherman to the position of District Manager of the firm’s Washington, D.C., territory.

Leatherman started with Davey Tree in 1984 working in the U.S. capital as a tree care foreman. In 2004 he earned a promotion to sales arborist, and in 2009 he was promoted to assistant district manager of the Washington, D.C., territory. In 2013, he transferred to Davey’s Northern Virginia territory as assistant district manager.

“As a seasoned assistant district manager, who has worked in two large territories, Brian returns to Washington, D.C., with a wealth of experience that he can put to use in his new position as district manager,” said Chris Klimas, residential and commercial operations manager for Davey’s Mid-Atlantic region.
