Davey Promotes Bureau to Davey Golf Regional Manager

Kent, Ohio – The Davey Tree Expert Co. has announced the promotion of Steve Bureau to regional manager for Davey Golf South.

Some description

Bureau started with Davey Golf North in 2012 as superintendent at Heathers of Bloomfield Hills Golf Club in Michigan. He earned a degree in golf course operations and turf management from Indian River State College in 2003.

Bureau has worked as assistant superintendent at both Cypress Creek Country Club and Diplomat Country Club in Florida before becoming superintendent at each location. He also worked as superintendent at Delray Beach Golf Club, Lakeview Golf Club and Savannah Club Golf.

“Steve has extensive experience in planning, scheduling and implementing the tasks of field crews for commercial landscape as well as leadership in training, managing and budget development,” said Mark Jackson, division manager for Davey Golf. “His experience at golf courses throughout Florida and the south will aid him well in this new role.”
