Michael Sultan joined Davey in 2011 as a project developer. In this role, Sultan assists communities and tree managers to better understand and quantify the value of the tree resources they are maintaining. Sultan has helped develop support for numerous tree inventory projects, tree canopy assessments, management plans, master plans and urban forest resource analysis studies throughout the southwestern United States.
Sultan holds a bachelor’s degree in forestry from Texas A&M University. He is an ISA Certified Arborist® and Municipal Specialist® and a graduate of the Municipal Forestry Institute. Sultan has also served as a volunteer with the Texas Statewide Urban and Community Forestry Advisory Committee, the International Society of Arboriculture Texas Chapter, the Trinity Blacklands Urban Forestry Council, the Texas Urban Forestry Council and the Utility Arborist Association.
