David Lee joined Davey in 2012. Lee is a senior biologist, where he performs environmental consulting and project development and management for Davey Resource Group. Lee has worked as an environmental inspector and biological monitor on construction projects throughout the United States and has been published numerous times, including a Comprehensive Biological Surveys Report for the U.S. Air Force. He also has experience as an environmental inspector and field biologist on transmission lines and linear construction projects with specialties in surveying and monitoring for desert tortoise and burrowing owl.
Lee holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz and a master’s degree in biology from Montana State University. He is the founder of the Wildlife Training Institute, an ISA-approved continuing education program for certified arborists, and he is an experienced Integrated Pest Management biologist.
