Yichen Zhu, M.A., joined Davey in 2001 as a geospatial and IT technician. In this role, Zhu specializes in database conversions, processing, and generating final deliverables to clients. She develops and facilitates the customizations of the TreeKeeper management software product for urban forestry clients, in addition to our RowKeeper vegetation management product for our utility forestry clients across the U.S. and Canada. Zhu handles many of the conversions of Davey Resource Group inventory data into i-Tree Streets project files. In addition, she has extensive experience programming in HTML, Microsoft Access, VBA, and PostgreSQL, and she is proficient in various GIS software.
Zhu holds a bachelor’s degree in geography from Northwest University of China and a master’s degree in geographic information science from Kent State University.
