Mike Barton, district manager
Mike has lived in Gilroy, California, for the last 13 years. He began working for Davey in February 1990 as a sales representative. As an ISA Certified Arborist, Mike enjoys dealing with customers and working outdoors.
Mike likes crepe myrtles for their flowers and color, but his favorite tree is the oak, which heavily populates the state of California.
When he’s not working, you might find Mike participating in baseball with his son Tyler. Mike also enjoys water skiing with his family.
Mike and his wife Robin, who recently celebrated their silver wedding anniversary, have a daughter named Elizabeth as well as a boxer named Ruby.

Roy Bradshaw, sales representative
Roy began his Davey career in April 1987. An ISA Certified Arborist, Roy enjoys helping clients preserve and enhance the beauty of their landscapes.
Outside of the office, Roy likes to explore the outdoors by camping, hiking and mountain biking.
Roy and his wife of 26 years have one daughter, two grandsons and one granddaughter.

Travis Evans, sales representative
Although he attended the Cabrillo College for business, Travis has developed a passion for old tree preservation. He joined Davey in April 2001. Travis, an ISA Certified Arborist and Utility Specialist, loves the constant change of job sites at his job for Davey.
Outside of the office, you might find Travis exploring his adventurous side. He enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing and camping, four wheeling and motorcycle riding.
The coastal redwood is Travis’s favorite tree. He particularly likes its amazing height and trunk diameters.
Travis grew up in Santa Cruz, California, but now lives in Scotts Valley with his wife, Amy, and their dog, Dino. Travis and Amy have been married for two years.

Gil Mitchell, sales representative
Gil grew up in Palo Alto, California, and earned his degree in forest management science from Colorado State University. In 1996, Gil established Tree Health Professionals, Inc., a business focused on pest management and consulting. Gil began his Davey career in February 2011, when he merged his business with Davey.
Gil, an ISA Certified Arborist, won the Western Chapter ISA Award of Achievement in 2009 and has earned other recognition as well. Gil loves helping his clients maintain and/or improve the health and quality of their trees. His favorite tree is the coast live oak. “It’s majestic and native to California.”
Gil particularly enjoys cycling and using the hobby to raise money for research and education to improve the care of trees. He has not only participated in four Tour de Trees cycling competitions but also served as the ride coordinator for the annual Britton Fund Ride, which raises money for research and education sponsored by the Britton Fund.
Gil and his wife, Virginia, of 36 years, have a daughter named Cory and a son named Robin. The family lives in Morgan Hill with two cats named Mateo and Levi.

Lea Candelario, office coordinator
Born and raised in San Jose, California, Lea joined Davey in June 2004. She earned her Associate degree in computer business administration from the School of Business at Heald College. She particularly enjoys working with the Santa Clara team because it is a great staff. “The employees are very dedicated to what they do.”
Lea and her husband, Neil, have two children named Lexie and Nathan. She enjoys spending time outdoors.

Cynthia Ocampo, administrative assistant
Cynthia, from San Jose, California, studied business administration at Heald College. She worked for Davey from 2007 to 2009 and then came back to the office in 2011. Cynthia enjoys the customer service aspect of her job; she likes scheduling appointments and answering customers’ questions and concerns.
Outside of the office, Cynthia has been learning how to play guitar with her daughter, Sophia, and her husband, both beginners.
Cynthia and her husband, Louis, have been together for 10 years.
