Jess has consulted with Bay Area property owners for more than a decade about their trees. A certified arborist, he studied wilderness management and parks recreation at Vermilion Community College in Minnesota and resource management at Fox Valley Technical College in Wisconsin.

Jess enjoys boxing and outdoor sports, including running.

Beth Valdez, office coordinator
Beth doesn't consider her role at Davey as a job. She views it as doing business, building client relationships and harvesting friendships - all of which she loves. She earned a business degree at San Jose State University and joined The Care of Trees (now part of The Davey Company) in 2005.

Beth and her husband of more than 25 years have two sons attending college in Hawaii.
