Kevin Mullinary, district manager
Kevin has lived in Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania, with his wife for the past 16 years. An ISA Certified Arborist and Maryland licensed Tree Expert, Kevin began his career with Davey in 1974. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys working outside in a variety of locations and situations, and true to form enjoys fishing and camping.
Although it’s fictional, Kevin’s favorite tree is a classic. He loves the Swiss Family Robinson tree house from the early 1960s movie. “At that time (and I still do), I thought that would be the greatest place to live,” he says.
Kevin and his wife Sue, who also works in the Baltimore office, have been together for 33 years. They have two daughters Katie and Emily, and a family cat named Cali.

Todd Armstrong, assistant district manager
Todd grew up in Towson, Maryland, and since then has relocated to Baldwin. Shortly after earning his degree in forest technology at Allegany College of Maryland, Todd began his career at Davey in May 1996. An ISA Certified Arborist, Todd enjoys being outside and observing the variety each property has to offer. “I like educating clients about their landscapes and helping them make informed decisions to improve [landscape] health and safety.”
In his spare time, Todd enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, landscaping, camping and hunting.
Todd’s favorite tree happens to be Maryland’s state tree, the white oak. “It’s very strong and long-lived, and a valuable wildlife food,” he says.
Todd and his wife Mindy have been together for 11 years and married for six. Their two sons Gunnar, and Greyson, may be found playing amongst the family dog, Muzzy, a lab mix.

Sue Mullinary, assistant coordinator
Sue was born in Pittsburgh, where she began her Davey career in 1978 and graduated from Penn State a year later with a Bachelor’s degree in forest science. Sue then transferred to Davey’s Baltimore office in 1996. When she worked in the field, Sue enjoyed taking care of clients’ landscapes. Now that she works in the office, Sue says she’s “the bridge between our clients and our crews.”
Outside of the office, Sue enjoys a variety of hobbies. You might find her focused on a puzzle, solving Sudoku, planning a camping trip or tending to the garden. Her favorite trees include mimosas and crape myrtles. “Coming from Pittsburgh, we only had one or two specimen trees that would survive the winters,” she says. “But in Baltimore they’re everywhere!”
Sue’s husband Kevin works with her in the Baltimore office. They have been together for 33 years and have two daughters, Katie and Emily. Sue says the family cat’s name, Cali, is short for California, for her black fur and white “bikini.”
