William Sutley, A.A.S., joined Davey in 2016 as a geospatial technician. In this role, Sutley is responsible for data and imagery acquisition, manipulation, interpretation, and conversion, in addition to the setup and maintenance of Davey’s internal GIS servers. He also handles the quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) process for utility vegetation right of way mapping and urban forestry projects. Sutley has programming experience in HTML, Python, Java, and VB for various tasks to more efficiently automate daily GIS processes.
Sutley holds an associate’s degree in information technology with an emphasis on computer networking systems from ITT Technical Institute. He is a licensed pilot and has also received his airman certificate (#3914999) to operate small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) with the FAA for commercial use.
