Charles Amschel, B.A.H., joined Davey in 2016 as a geospatial technician. In this role, Amschel is responsible for the setup, testing, and programming of custom input forms for our mobile mapping projects utilizing Davey’s Rover mobile collection software and ArcPad custom collection programs. Amschel handles the quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) process for utility vegetation right of way mapping and urban tree canopy (UTC) analysis projects. In addition, he generates final cartographic products for ecological, urban forestry, and utility mapping projects and is routinely involved in data and imagery acquisition, manipulation, interpretation, and conversion.
Amschel holds a bachelor’s degree in applied horticulture from Kent State University.
