Rosty is a senior project manager/senior ecologist in the Natural Resource Consulting group at Davey Resource Group, which provides comprehensive consulting services to governments, development companies, and engineering/design firms. Rosty provides managerial oversight and technical coordination for projects involving ecological impacts and mitigation, especially related to wetland and stream permitting. His 30 plus years of experience in the environmental field have included wetland identification and evaluation, wetland mitigation, stream restoration, preparation of erosion and sedimentation control plans, and environmental construction oversight. Rosty has completed courses in Managing Environmental Impacts of Highway Projects at the University of Wisconsin and was certified as a Trainer for Soil and Erosion Control Methods for Utility Construction. Rosty earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology specializing in aquatic ecology and holds a Master of Science degree in natural sciences and mathematics both from State University of New York at Buffalo.
