William Sutley, A.A.S., is a geospatial technician. His routine responsibilities include data and imagery acquisition, manipulation, interpretation, and conversion, in addition to the setup and maintenance of our internal GIS servers. He is also responsible for the quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) process for utility vegetation right of way mapping and urban tree canopy (UTC) analysis projects. Bill also generates final cartographic products for ecological, urban forestry, and utility mapping projects.
Prior to joining Davey, Bill worked for R&J Trucking Inc. in Boardman, OH as a Computer and Information Systems Specialist where he installed, repaired, maintained and supported a diverse range of software and hardware. He is a licensed pilot and has received his airman certificate to operate small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) with the FAA for commercial use. Bill also has programming experience in HTML, Python, Java, and VB for various tasks. Mr. Sutley holds an Associate of Applied Science in Information Technology - Computer Networking Systems from ITT Technical Institute. Bill joined Davey Resource Group in April 2016.
