Ruth Ann is a project coordinator and environmental planner with more than 22 years of experience including work in both the public and private sectors. Ms. Sobnosky puts her project management skills to use by successfully assembling and supervising project teams, coordinating with clients, administering contracts and grants, and tracking performance.
Ms. Sobnosky is responsible for the oversight of all Department of Transportation and local public agency related work in Ohio including scoping, bidding, final review and approval of deliverables, and invoicing to ensure that all work performed is consistent with agency standards. Ms. Sobnosky is experienced and knowledgeable in the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
As an environmental planner, Ruth Ann conducts literature research, writes, and reviews technical documents to ensure quality project deliverables. Ms. Sobnosky manages a variety of large-complex urban forestry and natural resource projects related to environmental planning, urban forestry master plans, cost-benefit analysis studies, stormwater and green infrastructure projects, federal or regional grant projects. Her responsibilities at Davey Resource Group include preparing presentation and educational materials that effectively communicate and educate the public and community representatives on the goals, needs, and benefits of their community forests and natural resources.
Ruth Ann is Ohio Department of Transportation prequalified for environmental document preparation—EA, EIS, and CE and Section 4(f). Ms. Sobnosky graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree in geography and holds a Master of Science degree in geography from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
