John Herchl, a Senior Project Manager with Davey Resource Group, has more than 18 years of experience in the environmental consulting and construction industry. John is a LEED Accredited Professional and maintains the CPESC and CESSWI certifications. With a focus on planning, design, and implementation of stormwater related projects, he has worked throughout Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, and Louisiana. He has managed large projects, incorporating a wide variety of technical disciplines including modeling, GIS, CADD, engineering, and sub-consultant contracts. John’s areas of expertise include siting and design of green infrastructure for CSO/SSO mitigation; stream stabilization, wetland/floodplain enhancement, and 401/404 permitting; and construction cost estimating and constructability assessments. He is also proficient with NPDES compliance, MS4 permitting, and stormwater quality sampling and analysis. John has successfully assisted communities with preparing and obtaining a variety of grants from agencies such as Ohio EPA and U.S. EPA. He serves as a Director-at-Large for the Water Management Association of Ohio. John graduated from the University of Toledo, College of Engineering with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering.
