A major focus at Davey Resource Group is the collection and computerization of high quality vegetation management data. This data can provide the accurate, up-to-date baseline information needed for sound, factually-based vegetation management decisions. Data also can be loaded into several GIS software packages, as well as more traditional database management software. Davey uses the most appropriate and current technologies and tools for data collection, including hand-held computers, pen-based computers, GPS equipment, laser rangefinders, and remote sensing units.
