"Davey might have been a local company to me growing up, but their reputation as the foremost tree care company was well known. I wanted to work for a company with such a great reputation and wealth of experience as Davey because I knew everyday would pose a new challenge, which is exciting to me."
Jim Jenkins joined Davey in 2000. Prior to working for Davey, Jim worked in a laboratory for a company providing environmental testing services. After a year, Jim found himself in a static position, so he turned to Davey for the challenging career he was craving.
Jim started as a plant health care technician in the East Cleveland office, but shortly thereafter joined the Davey Resource Group as an inventory arborist. Throughout the years he has been promoted to project manager for DRG and has worked on a wide range of projects, such as the Asian Longhorned Beatle eradication in New York, providing him with everyday challenges and excitement.
