Davey's large tree moving expertise recently starred in the entertainment capital of the United States. When the Stardust Resort and Casino in Las Vegas closed recently in order to build Echelon Place, Davey got the call.
Boyd Gaming, the property owner, decided to keep the existing trees, a gorgeous assortment of palms, oaks and olives. Davey's tree moving experts were called to transplant the trees into a holding facility during the construction phase.
Davey crews started transplanting the more than 600 trees in mid-December, hand digging and boxing many of them. Following transport, Davey specialists will monitor the trees and ensure they are properly maintained and ready for transport to the new site following construction.
