AMR, or automated meter reading, allows utilities to remotely read meters without having to visit a location to do so. DRG utilizes custom field tools in AMR installation to eliminate transcription errors and ensure automation and validation. We use existing billing data and reference all meter numbers, associate the meter number with the meter reading, and link it back to the billing database for delivery in electronic format that can be uploaded by the utility.
