“I’m a former U.S. Marine. I chose then to be part of the best, and I continued that tradition when I joined Davey.”

Frank Fogle compares his experience working for Davey Tree to his military career, which included two wars in the late 1980s and early ‘90s.

“Being with the Marines, I had the biggest family,” said Fogle, a sales representative with Davey’s commercial and residential office in Baltimore. “Now I belong to the Davey family. It’s great being part of one that’s as old and diverse as Davey Tree’s.”

Fogle’s love for his professional family and work is so deep that, “if you cut me, I’d bleed green,” he says. Each day, he looks forward to doing his job, facing challenges and learning new things. He especially appreciates being able to teach others, whether it’s an advanced rigging and dynamics course to other Davey employees or characteristics of trees to homeowners.

“I’m having fun,” Fogle said. “And I love tree work.”
