Jason Bassler most enjoys activities that are outdoors, so a job with Davey just made sense for him.
"I really enjoy working outside, and it’s great that I can do it for such a reputable company," Bassler says. "It’s a bonus that I have great coworkers and that there are many opportunities for advancement."
Bassler, now a Commercial Grounds Management supervisor in Columbus, Ohio, joined Davey in 1999 as a mowing foreman. Notable properties he has worked on include major Columbus retail centers such as Easton Town Center, Polaris Fashion Place, the JPMorgan Chase campus, and the Times Square apartment complex in suburban Dublin.
"Davey is such a great company to work for," Bassler says. "Your work becomes a priority, not just a job. You’re challenged with the work you do, but it allows you to take ownership and make each property look its best."
