Wes Hurlbert Urban Forester |

Wes Hurlbert is an urban forester with Davey Resource Group. Mr. Hurlbert conducts computerized tree inventory projects for municipalities, parks, and golf courses. He has experience with GIS-based pen tablet computers and handheld PDA data collection units, as well as GPS technology. He has assisted in the public tree inventories of New York City, New York, and Orlando, Florida. During the winter of 2007, Mr. Hurlbert was a member of Davey’s storm damage assessment team, working for Erie County, New York during the aftermath of a devastating snow storm. Mr. Hurlbert has prior experience as a tree climber, ground crew member, and spray technician, working in various locations in the United States, Switzerland, and Greece. He is a Certified Arborist in Massachusetts (MCA #2194). Mr. Hurlbert graduated from Stockbridge School of Agriculture with an Associate’s degree in arboriculture and park management and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a bachelor of science degree in urban forestry.
