Palmetto Bluff, located along the bank of the May River in Bluffton, South Carolina, is a picturesque estate featuring stately live oak and cedar trees; the type of scenery synonymous with southern charm.

Davey’s National Large Tree Moving operation helped the property owner, Crescent Resources, and the primary contractor, Old South Landscaping Services, spread this beauty throughout the site by transplanting live oaks from remote locations within the 20,000-acre forest to the property's championship golf course.

Davey's large tree moving experts used a 125 spade to move the mammoth oak trees to the course. Many of the live oak trees that were preserved and moved were more than 200-years-old, and are an integral part of the development.

In addition to tree moving expertise, Davey's comprehensive after care and maintenance program will ensure that the newly transplanted trees remain a lasting tribute to the rich history of the area.
