Cayetano Diaz didn’t realize he was embarking on a successful career in the tree care industry when he accepted a position with Davey.
Now more than 10 years later, he is glad he followed a friend’s recommendation to seek a job with the tree experts.
Diaz, a Residential Services foreman in North Detroit, is a graduate of the Davey Institute of Tree Sciences and has received a variety of other training to help him as he works to continually improve.
"Here, you earn respect from everybody," he says. "Everyone has the same goal, so you feel like you’re part of a team. Every day, people are friendly and offer help. If you have questions, someone is always there to show you how to do it right."
