Huron, Sandusky, and Seneca counties, Ohio:
Northern Ohio Rural Water Wetlands Delineation

Davey Resource Group performed a wetlands delineation for a proposed 75.7-mile waterline located in Huron, Sandusky, and Seneca counties, Ohio. The waterline route will follow existing roads. A total of 22 wetlands, six ponds, 43 linear feet of ephemeral streams, 17,527 linear feet of intermittent streams, and 6,724 linear feet of perennial streams were delineated on the site.

The project area is located in the Huron and Sandusky River watersheds within the Buffalo District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). A USACE Certified Wetlands Delineator led the field team and assured that all work was performed in accordance with methodology outlined in the 1987 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Wetlands Delineation Manual. A 12-channel Trimble Pathfinder® Pro XRS differential global positioning system (GPS) capable of sub-meter accuracy was used to precisely map all wetlands and streams on the site.

Davey collected all required data from the site to complete a Wetlands Delineation Report. The comprehensive Wetlands Delineation Report was prepared according to USACE specifications and included data sheets, maps, and site photographs.
