Davey Resource Group (DRG) provides Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) with about 50 certified arborists, utility foresters and supervisors who perform line clearance pre-inspection, work planning and consulting services.
California clearance requirements allow utilities no margin for error. PG&E depends upon DRG�s commitment to providing high quality services to help meet its objective of delivering safe, dependable energy in a cost-effective manner.
DRG personnel pre-inspect the right-of-way and determine if tree work is required. Trimming only necessary trees is critical to keeping PG&E�s vegetation management program on target. DRG�s staff prepares work plans that include customer contact, detailed directions and work descriptions to keep tree crews productive. DRG�s focus on customer service and accuracy ensures our foresters obtain a successful removal rate of targeted young, fast-growing tree species.
DRG�s project team also provides professional technical consulting and project management skills. Projects include reconstruction coordination, special removal projects, handling refusals by customers, and developing special reliability projects.
